Midtown Reader is especially proud to work with publishers & media specialists to coordinate author visits to local schools!

Since we opened in 2016 we've brought acclaimed childrens authors & illustrators to schools like Kate Sullivan Elementary, Gilchrist Elementary, Roberts Elementary, Maclay School, Holy Comforter Episcopal, FSUS, DeSoto Trail Elementary, Cobb Elementary, SAS and others! 

We are a full service event provider! Midtown Reader creates pre-order forms and handles distribution of books, accounting, author transportation, & supplies for school events. And students get a 20% discount!

Our goal is to put a book in the hands of every child in Leon County. We are working with the superintendent’s office & independent donors in an attempt to fund book donations for students in Title 1 schools.
